  • PubMed the Medline database of all published biomedical articles.
  • PubMed Central the NIH's free digital archive of biomedical and life sciences journal articles
  • NCBI GENE An important database of every known gene
  • CGAP the Cancer Genome Anatomy Project
  • PubChem providing information on bioreactive small molecules, including many cancer therapies

Cancer.gov is the National Cancer Institute's portal to a wide array of data and resources on cancer.

American Cancer Society has excellent resources and information for the general public.

NCCN is the National Comprehensive Cancer Network, a group of about 68 NCI-designated institutions (mostly academic) that wok on cancer research, treatment and education (registration required).
